This healthcare and business support-based internship promotional video features a UI REACH student and recent graduate, Lily O'Brien, having her internship at the Scanlan Center for School Mental Health at the College of Education in Iowa City, Iowa. Deb Kavakas was her direct supervisor and Dr. Allison Bruhn is the Executive Director of the Scanlan Center. Both are featured in the video as well. UI REACH (Realizing Educational and Career Hopes), in the University of Iowa College of Education, is a comprehensive transition program for students ages 18-25 years old with intellectual, cognitive and learning disabilities. UI REACH offers an integrated college experience in a caring and structured environment.
