In 2023, the Iowa Hawkeye Women's Basketball Team played in the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament for a chance to play in the National Championship game in Dallas, Texas. Led by unanimous National Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark, the Hawkeyes made it to their first Final Four since 1994 and their first national championship appearance in program history.
